In an eerie reminder that more than 50 years has passed since the Civil Rights Act was signed in 1964, over 50,000 people marched down Pennsylvania Avenue to protest police violence on 12-13-14 in Washington, DC. The grieving families of Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, and John Crawford, III came together as a group for the first time, leading the march.
